How we work
From sowing the seeds to reaching the customer
He who will reap must sow. Mild temperatures enable us to do just that all year round to ensure the highest level of delivery reliability and maximum predictability.
Nature determines what we are able to produce. That is why we use its resources responsibly and cultivate its produce, namely our salad plants, consistently and with care.
Since we guarantee our customers the highest quality and tailor-made salad products, we check them right from the beginning and during every growth phase.
When it is time to bring in the harvest - be it mechanically or manually, things have to be done quickly but carefully. The salads are packed directly into boxes and immediately cooled meaning everything stays freshly harvested!
The guaranteed long shelf life and top quality of our salad products are down to immediate storage and our modern vacuum cooling systems.
Our independent quality controllers are experts in their field and continuously monitor our agricultural products using laboratory analyses in order to meet our customers’ high requirements.
We adapt our packaging to the needs of our customers: This ranges from solutions typically used within the industry including cardboard, disposable plastic boxes and reusable packaging such as IFCO and EPS to our own pool of crates - an environmentally friendly and more cost-effective reusable solution.
In terms of delivery to our national and international customers, it goes without saying that we prepare everything down to the finest detail - including complete documentation and controlled loading.

Salads from Spain
Growing area: Murcia region, Spain
Fertile land for lettuces
The Murcia region is the ideal growing area for our salads. Here we cultivate a variety of different lettuces on open fields covering an area of 1,400 hectares. Our portfolio consists of more than 40 different types of lettuce: from Apollo to Curly Endive, Romaine, Lollo rosso (red) and Iceberg to name but a few. In the immediate vicinity of our fields, we operate our warehouse with cold storage cells and vacuum cooling as well as a packhouse.

Baby leaves from Italy
Growing area: Sele Plain, Italy
Our growing region for baby leaves
We have chosen the Sele Plain near Salerno as the ideal growing area for our baby leaves given its decades long tradition in baby leaf production. Since these are more delicate plants, we rely on protected cultivation (tunnel). Our various salad crops thrive on an area spanning 90 hectares and are carefully picked using a harvester then immediately stored, packed and cooled.
