Rizzi, based in South Tyrol, Italy, can boast a long and successful track record that began in 1978. The company quickly established itself as a reliable partner for the distribution of fresh fruit and vegetable products.

Then, over the years, it developed important partnerships with companies operating in the food processing industry, particularly with regard to ready-to-eat salads. With this in mind, in 2008 Rizzi created a new line of business specializing in the production of salads for the food processing industry. Thus, starting from exports from Italy, Spain also became one of the main areas of production of Rizzi salads and vegetables.
Subsequently, in 2018, the company wrote a new chapter in its history, dedicating itself to the direct production of salads. Following the positive experience in Spain, a similar project was then launched in Italy and a competent partner with a solid agronomic background was chosen in 2019, thus kicking off production on the Italian territory.

Today we are the only company in Europe to offer, beyond national borders, a complete assortment of salads, grown directly on our own lands and destined exclusively for the food processing industry.
